ZincMat™ is an anode-grade grounding mat specially designed to work in conjunction with cathodically protected and isolated structures. The electrochemical potential of ZincMat™ in soils, waters, and other corrosion media is always more active than that of steel, cast iron and other ferrous materials of construction.

When ZincMat™ is electrically coupled to the structure, the galvanic cell formed protects the steel rather than corrode the structure.

ZincMat™ is easy to install and provides for increased soil contact, therefore reducing resistance and improving grounding capacity. When used for cathodic protection purposes, the reduced circuit resistance results in improved anode current output.
